#0003, Constantly Evolving

Located along Sugar Creek Greenway, the design concept is driven by the diverse tufts, or islands of vegetation that form along it’s banks - the organic forms home to a wide array of vegetation. We transposed those forms onto the clients property in a way that created a variety of spaces and circulation routes that continuously evolve throughout the growing season. From a visitors perspective, the lush landscape seems continuous and unending until you enter the garden and discover its myriad of pathways. An elevated patio matches the floor elevation of the house extending of the modern interior design into the landscape. I call it the “Garden Theatre.”
